1. Who we are
JACT Income Academy ("JACT", "we", "us", "our") operates this website and provides AI-powered services to trade and service businesses, including our flagship product, JACT AI, a 24/7 AI receptionist, along with website development, custom applications, and AI automation.
For anything related to this policy or your personal data, contact us at stuart@jactincomeacademy.com.
2. The information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact form: your name, email address, phone number, and the content of your message.
- Audit and call bookings: your name, email address, phone number, business name, and the appointment details you choose.
- Email: anything you choose to include when you email us directly.
Information collected automatically
- Technical data: when you visit the site, our hosting infrastructure may record standard server information such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you visit, used for security and to keep the site running reliably.
- Embedded services: our contact form and booking calendar are provided by LeadConnector (HighLevel). When you use them, your interaction is processed by that platform (see section 4).
We do not run advertising trackers on this site.
3. How we use your information
- To reply to your enquiries and messages (legitimate interests).
- To schedule, confirm, and deliver your free AI Business Growth Audit, including confirmations by email and text message (taking steps at your request before entering into a contract).
- To provide, run, and improve the services you engage us for (performance of a contract).
- To keep records we are legally required to keep, such as accounting records (legal obligation).
- To protect the site and our business from fraud or misuse (legitimate interests).
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not send marketing you haven't agreed to. If you opt in to updates, every message will include a way to opt out.
4. Who we share it with
We use a small number of trusted service providers to run our business. They process data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes:
- LeadConnector / HighLevel: powers our contact form, booking calendar, and customer communications (including text and email confirmations). Some of its processing takes place outside the UK, including in the United States; transfers are protected by recognised safeguards such as the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.
- Google Fonts: serves the typefaces used on this site; your browser requests these files directly from Google when a page loads.
- Hosting and infrastructure providers: store and serve this website and our systems.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or as part of a business sale or reorganisation, in which case this policy would continue to apply to your data.
5. Cookies and embedded content
This site itself does not set marketing or analytics cookies. The embedded LeadConnector form and calendar may set functional cookies needed for those widgets to work, for example to remember your progress in a booking. Requests to Google Fonts share your IP address with Google as a technical necessity of serving the files.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time; the embedded widgets may not function fully without them.
6. How long we keep your information
- Enquiries: kept for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and for up to 24 months afterwards, in case you come back to us.
- Client records: kept for the duration of our work together and for 6 years afterwards, in line with UK contractual and tax record requirements.
- Booking data: kept in line with the enquiry and client periods above, depending on whether you become a client.
7. Your rights
Under UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018), you have the right to:
- access a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
- ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
- ask us to delete your data;
- restrict or object to our processing of your data;
- receive your data in a portable format;
- withdraw consent at any time, where consent is the basis we rely on.
To exercise any of these rights, email stuart@jactincomeacademy.com. We will respond within one month. There is no charge for a reasonable request.
8. Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) across the site, access controls on our systems, and reputable providers for processing and storage. No online service can guarantee absolute security, but we work to keep risks to a minimum.
9. Children
Our services are for businesses and are not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time, for example when we adopt a new service provider. The "last updated" date at the top shows the current version. Significant changes will be highlighted on this page.
11. Complaints
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, please contact us first at stuart@jactincomeacademy.com and give us the chance to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the UK's supervisory authority, the Information Commissioner's Office, at ico.org.uk.
